anyone see the new ads for Under Armour with Owen Pappoe
twitter link
This is a good start to NIL and using Under Armour more to promote Auburn. I have also seen a youtube/tv ad with him in it for UA.

We’ve had multiple athletes from various sports on their website already but worldwide branding in stores is huge

If Under Armour steps up, that's gonna be yuuuuge

Wasn't he in a UA television ad last season?
Good for him and I hope UA takes care of multiple athletes at schools they have deals with. However that quote on the poster in the store is just odd to me.

Still happy for him.

This is nice but the majority of money they earn will be in the form of personal services contracts or something similar, its what we saw with A&M and what we are seeing elsewhere this season.
We should have an entirely separate company set up and have donations funding its working capital as well as the NIL contracts for all the players; recruits and existing players.
The University should be encouraging it, you cant sign a contract with ESPN alone for 68 million per school annually, then throw in ticket sales, scholly membership sales, paraphernalia sales, tailgate sales, etc. and not expect to have a NIL budget of less than 10 million a year to start with.
The university has enjoyed the gravy train long enough, they better pony up. And please do quote profits or losses of the program, you can move around money to make the P and L look like whatever you are trying to project. And the large projects are all paid by donations already. So where is the 100 million in revenue going???
And yes I know the school is not to be involved, that does not stop them from directing donations away from the athletic program and to NIL, or they will watch the program, and donations dry up on a vine.

This... I'd like to see large NIL donors getting perks the same way normal donors do. School needs a symbiotic relationship with NILs to be competitive in the new world.

It's a gym thing. I have worn nike leggings on my squat days. Comfortable to lift in.

I think at Bama when you inquire about giving a player NIL they direct you to the players NIL rep. I hope we got something similar going on. But the way our admin and AD been fighting with the Coaches, I doubt it. They probably hand out a binder with a Player's wish list on it. -MOms needs a House, New Car, $100k/yr Salary, Books, Beer for a week, Laundry Money...

I go to the gym 6 days a week. I've never seen a man wear leggings.
