Maybe when it started but softball is now a revenue sport. Schools that invest in the program are seeing profits. It is the 4th highest revenue sport in the NCAA.

It's also paying for my daughter's education so I may be a little bias.

Paid for my Daughters' too. Plus it's much more exciting to watch than bb.

I'm bias too. My daughter doesn't play in college, but played since she was 4 years old, I coached her in travel from 10U-14U until she out grew my ability to coach her. She played at pretty high level until she went off to Bama.

We had a great time, she made lifelong friends, and kept her busy, very busy.

I love watching games, very fast moving, not all the 5-6 throw backs to 1st, stealing bases is legit, and the girls just have fun and aren't afraid to show it.

Alabama softball lost 1.68 million dollars.
