I find it amusing that the Phillies had an already horrific defense and their two big offseason acquisitions were Kyle Schwarber and Nick Castellanos. Like yeah the NL has the DH now, but no matter what you do 2 of them and Hoskins have to be on the field. And if you want to keep Realmuto's bat in the lineup on his days off all 3 of them have to play the field...together.

That last 2 teams with defensive WAR as bad as theirs that added 2 guys with terrible defensive WAR were 2 of the Tigers teams in the early 2010s. Their GM was..........Dave Dombrowski.
