I don’t think Jabari goes number one if draft was today.

I've listened to numerous NBA podcasts where they all talk about how they think Jabari is their #1 and is definitely in contention depending who gets the pick

The NBA always believes they can fix a lot of things. Jabari's flaws all are things that are reasonably fixable too

- Size/Skinny --> NBA believes S&C he will fill out
- Physicality --> He plays hard but just not big enough
- Handle --> Guys like BOS' Tatum examples of improvement
- TOs --> Young player

The thing is too that Jabari is grading out at near 100% for a #1 for intangibles like 'coachability,' 'give a sh!t' and 'work ethic'

It makes NBA teams more confident that he will reach his ceiling

I mean I never said he wasn’t in contention lol. But in general he looked like the consensus number one pick a month ago based on mock drafts I saw, now I am seeing him at 2 and 3 more often but still seeing him at 1 as well. Like I said, the draft is weak at the top and none of the big 3 would be the number one pick in a normal year so I think it’s gonna be pretty unpredictable in terms of who goes first. I bet there will not really be a consensus amongst GMs and it will likely be based around how the bottom 3 (magic, pistons, rockets) feel like the pick matches up with their current planned core.
