I doubt 247 knows anything other than Rashada is fighting for more than what the big boosters themselves are actually offering in crunch time.

this has already been debunked.

Pate actually confirmed it via his "sources" at Swamp247, i.e. Blake Alderman and Jacob Rudner are his sources. Folks that have actually verbally communicated with Jaden's father.

If you want to blame someone for this, blame the UAA (a separate entity of the university) and the NIL collectives (GC/GG, also separate entities from the university).

They either promised money they didn't have, or they're reneging on the agreement. What's Billy supposed to do? Write the check for them?

He already got him to commit and sign.

Our UAA would never be a part of any NIL discussions with how uptight they are and Florida's laws on that. Napier wouldn't have any discussions about NIL details with a recruit either except to tell them that is the Gator Guard's deal or whoever it is.

This kid has clowns representing him I think dropping all kinds of nonsense to reporters. The 13 million joke figure tells me that. Boosters with info in the past say that is not even close to what is being argued about. Now did some powerless person that doesn't actually write the checks for a collective verbally tell this kid he could get something for him that he actually couldn't I don't know. It's at the point he needs to either accept what our boosters are willing to pay or just move on.

My guess is Stricklin would have no issue releasing him. I damn sure hope if he leaves he does only end up getting half of what we are offering him now for all this BS.

Ruiz

This is one of the few people that knows exactly what happened probably. With his comments after signing day about the Gators and NIL I wonder if some of the NIL headaches aren't related to the time after Rashada committed to Miami besides the issues with our side.

Thinking the longer this goes on, the better it is for Florida. I don’t know where else he can go after this and expect a deal anywhere close to what was supposed to be offered. Any backer will put in so many clauses to protect everything they spend on an NIL deal.
