My sources in _____________ say Saban is going to be the coach of _____________ next year.

Let's just sticky this so everyone can fill in the blanks as the need arises. Save some server space for decent threads.

He's not going anywhere Dvls. The only place I think he takes a SERIOUS look at is Penn State. If they come with a check book he may have to listen. Other than that, that fricker will be pissing LSU fans off for a looooong time IMO.

Well, we know he will never leave for the NFL again. He learned that lesson already.

I think he will be at Bama for at least five years. Like at LSU, he has all the tools he needs to win and winning makes him more $$$$.
I think he loathes the redneck fan base and the meddling attempts by boosters, so in the end I think he will leave for a school up north with a less rabid fan base to finish his coaching career.

why would he go to Penn state?

Saban will be at bama till he reties, all you can hope for is he retires young.

I would be willing to bet if he was given gm and coach, he would jump in a heartbeat.

Saban won't be at Bama for more then 5 years. He knows better than anyone that to keep his name in the spotlight he must move on.

A large part of the process is getting paid and leaving when the national perception is at its peak.

Yeah, NFL owners would jump at the chance to land Saban, especially considering the way he left Miami.

They have a very short memory. However, Saban was basically the gm at Miami. He got everything he could of ever wanted and wen he realized that his best wasn't good enough he split.

If the guy could win, I really think it would not be that big of deal. I am sure an owner like Jerry Jones would hire him in a second.

I think his ego is such that he will want another shot.

I'm telling you, he hated that NFL gig. That was the worst coaching move he ever made and he got his faced rubbed in the mud pretty good.
Not happening again for him.
