Saw on another site that Kanon Parkman, kicker from 1991-1995, has passed away. He was a DGD that beat GT twice on last minute FGs.

Damn that sucks. Played a lot of golf with him right after he graduated from UGA. He was part of a group of guys from Tucker that I knew.

For a condition that supposedly isnt that deadly, I know so many people who have passed from it. A lot recently.

The AJC article from Chip, updated just 9 minutes ago, mentions nothing about Covid.

RIP Kanon. He was a good kicker. I seem to recall he kicked straight-on. I also seem to recall he kicked the game winning field goal vs Tech in 95.

The straight ahead K you’re thinking of is Steve Crumley. He was 10 years ahead of Kanon.
