Get behind Harsin or get the frick out. We got a bunch of whiner arse pansies we could afford to see hit the transfer portal. Your lucky sperm boys played their cards and they fricking lost. Time to get to work. The rest of you can get fricked. Here’s looking at you, Jang.

I’m with you to an extent. Harsin now has to prove he can recruit and build. He definitely has been fricked over by media, fans and most likely some of the BOT. If he’s gonna be that guy he has to show now he can be. I’ve been a supporter of him since his first press conference. He was a change from Gus and his gosh darn it attitude and I thought it was much needed. We’ll see if he can overcome the cards now, but we’ve only made it tougher on him as a fanbase and media. I wish his next press conference he would just go full on Marshawn Lynch and answer any question about this bullshite as I’m here to do my job. Nothing more. Don’t even give these fricks a chance for clicks. I used to subscribe to ITAT on scout and still to this day, Mark Murphy (idk if Jason Caldwell or is Stephen Atkinson is still there) is the only person in Auburn media I trust and respect. The rest can fall on a 6 foot cactus and get fricked

Are there any purgatory options for those that want to see more than 14 months?

This feels like an aggressive time share pitch

Not really. Our university has conducted probably one of the biggest investigations on a coach in the history of Auburn. And found nothing to fire him over. The whole thing was bullshite to start. The only thing we did is frick ourselves in the media. Which will lead to a tough road for recruiting, and bringing any other decent head coach in the future if he’s not the guy. The past week has been an absolute shite show for our football and university in general and it’s pathetic that people are mad he’s still the coach after what he went through.

It’s possible. I’ve been drinking since 5 with a childhood best friend who is in town and just got home to read the board. But still how I feel

I wish there was a way to determine the facts from
Rumors on message boards.

Facts:
University had reason to investigate

They did a terrible PR job (Auburn sucks at PR)

Investigation did not find enough to fire with cause

19 players, 6 coaching changes

Harsin remains our coach

Rumor (message board, call in shows, rivals, etc),

He is having an affair with a subordinate (never was about that)

He was racist, terrible people person, did not adequately perform his job.

Did I miss any facts?

I would like to think everyone wants him to succeed. I'll never understand actively pulling for Auburn to fail.

Most people are upset because we understand there is no long term future with Harsin

Looks sufficient to me. However what has to go uncorroborated but likely true is the good guy in this scenario (the PTB) saw opportunity with the investigation and went after Harsin.

The PR could’ve been better but if the PTB weren’t involved I bet the PR would’ve been better.

I remember Jay Jacobs’ strong response to Selena’s accusations that shut the wolves up. Good PR could’ve happened…..if desired.

I support Harsin, problem I see coming is this will be a repeat of the Tubberville years following jetgate. Unless the administration shows some form of public support every year will be the same with everybody wondering if he is going to be fired or not and the shitstirring media spreading false rumors. Harsin can help himself the most by winning and beating our rivals but we need good players to make this happen. Unfortunately, the media (aka clickbait whores) will continue to spread false rumors making the job even harder each year.

Yea, it is possible to believe you have the wrong coach and still support him, the team and the University. We are fans, maybe some on here are boosters, but in reality we have little affect on Auburn or the team.

I suspect we will have a rough 2022 season and Harsin will also have a rough time recruiting in 2023 because you can't do it alone.

The weirdest thing about this is Gouge said:

"Auburn never has — and I hope never will — legitimize reckless rumors or innuendo with public comment."

But evidently he doesn't have a problem making what should be a private matter public by saying things like "We're trying to separate fact from fiction" and "K, we'll keep you posted."

The ironic thing is that this investigation was always based on rumor and innuendo -- something Gouge says AU never publicly comments on.

What a sad thread. I support AU Football. I hope they do well. I am not confident we will do well with this awful coach.

What is your idea of supporting Harsin? Do we have to be brainless sheep zombies and sing his praise and “bad assness”? Or is criticism even allowed?

You are blind with your hope for Auburn to do well and you will blindly follow this guy. You can’t let yourself see the truth when it is right in front of you.

If he wins, there is absolutely a long term play. Tommy T had 5 more seasons after the same thing happened to him (well similar). How long will depend on how the administration supports him. If the admin chases away a successful coach because they done “like” him, they are the ones who should be fired.

At some point, Auburn should treat this like a business and adopt the it’s not personal, it’s professional approach. Until then, we will operate on feelings rather than logic.

Oh and frick Neville… we sold out.
