Real good post / breakdown of our pitching from TA:
I would start Prager, but only give him 1 time through the order plus however left he can keep the bases empty. I'd use Rudis, Tucker, Moo, & Cortez after that. Ride whoever is hot, and have a quick leash for anyone who isn't.
If we win, and this may be crazy, I got Dirty Dettmer again. Let him get his revenge on OU. I ride with Palish for as long as possible after that. At this point, whoever is left finishes.
If we get to a "game 7" vs OU, Dallas is back on the bump. We're likely have burned just about everyone. Someone is going to have to gut it out. My money would be on Moo. We'd probably be bringing everyone back from Tuesday.

The Ags start a 3 game series on Tuesday against ND, OU, and OU that we have to sweep or else the season is over. How can we get there with our pitching?
Dettmer - 44 pitches on Friday
Dallas - 95 Sunday
Prager - 8 Friday
Menefee - 54 Friday
Tucker - 47 Friday
Cortez - 23 Friday
Johnston - 11 Friday
Palisch - 49 Sunday
Rudis - 14 Sunday
Hogan - Has not pitched
A few other pitchers who have thrown less than 10 IP this year.
Let's start with Dettmer. My interest in seeing him pitch against OU again is pretty minimal, so I think you either start him on Tuesday against ND or save him till Thursday to maximize his days off and pray for the best. He's been a starter all year and hasn't pitched on 3 days rest but given that he only threw 44 pitches on Friday, could you try to get 2-3 innings out of him on Tuesday?
Dallas should only pitch Thursday on 3 days rest in case of an emergency... maybe 2 innings?
My initial assumption was that Prager starts vs. ND, goes 3-4 innings ideally, and then we have 7 bullpen arms (assuming Cortez is good to go) to finish out the 3 games if you want to avoid using D&D for various reasons. I'd prefer not to pitch anyone all 3 days, so if you give each of the 7 relievers a max of 2 appearances each, then you have 14 pitching appearances to cover 24 innings. You try to get 2 innings out of each pitcher and in each outing and hope for the best.
Menefee should pitch Tuesday vs. ND and then ideally again on Thursday. The problem with my Prager / Menefee strategy is that ND is likely to hit 7 righties and 2 switch-hitters, so everyone would be hitting righty against the lefties. This makes me think we'll see a heavier mix of Rudis, Cortez (assuming he's healthy), Tucker, and maybe even Hogan cause you need to throw him at some point.
When would you throw Dettmer again?
Do we see an Xavier Lovett, Jack Hamilton, or Walker Xander take the mound at some point if we have a 5+ run lead?
Are you willing to pitch someone besides Palisch with a 1-2 run lead in the 9th tomorrow?
Who are you starting tomorrow and who are your first 2 out of the pen?
I would start Prager, but only give him 1 time through the order plus however left he can keep the bases empty. I'd use Rudis, Tucker, Moo, & Cortez after that. Ride whoever is hot, and have a quick leash for anyone who isn't.

Schloss is giving the team the day off and trying to come up with a pitching plan. Pitching will definitely be interesting if we get through ND. Sad to say I have to go home tonight but glad I got to experience the game yesterday.
