True measure of the success in hindsight will be if leadership has the wherewithal to allow this run to lift the ships of other sports and the university at large.
Say what you will about Alabama as an institution and athletic department but they are unquestionably better across the board than they were pre-Saban in large part because they’ve ridden their success wave so far as to add brick and mortar facilities to their campus.
Admissions (which have already been getting more and more selective) should see a nice bump in applicants, particularly out of state. Prestige aside, how does state and school leadership manage those applicants? How does Josh Brooks use football success to build up and not overshadow basketball and baseball?

and Nick Saban is 70. If Kirby can keep the momentum we could have multiple NC's in the next 10 years. Still nothing last forever and we need to get it while the getting is good.
