Lol. Look, great year for you guys. Enjoy it.

But Bama lost its top 2 wr’s in the post season play. That was the difference between game one and game 2.

Let’s not act like you guys went out and dominated everyone on both sides of the ball with a hard schedule.

Sounds like Bama should’ve prepped their backups better. Shame.

Excuses can go both ways. Apparently UGA was recovering from the flu for game 1.

I say it’s a wash.

You know what the difference for Georgia was? We played without 4 of our top WRs all/most of the year. Our All-American DB all year and a first round edge rusher, and our first string G.

I get it. But people act like we went through the year injury free. We had a ton of injuries.

Amazing how other teams get to blame injuries but ours are inconsequential.

We also beat the #1 and #2 teams in the country and ended with the #10 toughest schedule in the country.

Sagarin SOS

We finished 3-1 against top 10 teams while Alabama finished 2-1.

I'm not sure what your point is?

Georgia was so decimated by injuries at WR, our leading receiver was freshman, Ladd McKonkey. 3 of our 4 TDs in the NCG were scored by freshman. According to most, if not all, CFB analysts, Georgia was the best team in CFB. I understand your Auburn butt hurt. Your program is irrelevant. But facts are facts.

Wrong. Georgia looked like the best team the entire regular season and absolutely dominated the same teams that Bama barely beat or almost lost to. The SEC championship showed us something that didn’t align with what we saw all year. Georgia then went on to blowout #2 Michigan and beat Bama by 15 points with a walk on QB and freshman receivers. What that says is that the SEC championship was a fluke. Also, if you insist on the idea that Bama only lost because of two WRs being out, then they should have had better depth than Georgia. If they were the better team, they’d have better depth.

Maybe Bama’s new model for building teams - QB/WR-centric - perhaps that has downside/injury risk?

Hmmmmmm….UGA didn’t have all their WRs healthy all year - lost their best passrusher to legal issues.

Attrition is part of the equation.
