Has there ever been a close game in a semifinal in CFP?

This year Bama blew out Cincy and Georgia blew out Michigan.
I feel like this is always what happens.
Can anyone prove me wrong?
Update-
2014 Bama vs Oh St
2017 Semi UGA vs Oklahoma was an overtime game
2019 Oh St vs Clemson was a close game
Others?

LSU and Oklahoma was close before the game started. I think the score was 0-0, but I will have to look it up again

2019 Ohio St. Clemson was a great game. Otherwise mostly arse whippings

2017 Rose Bowl UGA vs Oklahoma was an OT game.

Georgia and Oklahoma went to 2OT in 2017
ETA: just saw your edit. Ohio State beat Alabama by a TD in the first year. But yeah most are blowouts.

Alabama-Ohio State was an objectively fun game. Overall SemiFinal day has been pretty poor
The Great (3)
Bama-Ohio State
Georgia-Oklahoma
2019 Ohio State-Clemson (29-23)
The Ok (6)
Bama-Cincy
2020 OSU-Clemson (49-28)
FSU-Oregon
Bama-Clemson
Clemson-Oklahoma
Bama-Oklahoma
The "Do We Really Need to Expand the Playoffs" (7)
Alabama-Michigan State
Alabama-Washington
Bama-Notre Dame
Clemson-Notre Dame
Georgia-Michigan
LSU-Oklahoma
2016 Clemson-Ohio State (31-0)
And I'm reeeeeeally stretching the "OK" category. If the losing team didn't look completely overmatched the entire game, I put it in the middle group

So there's been 16 semifinal playoff games in the history of CFB, and only 3 of those are what we'd call "close games".
Is that the consensus?

Seems obvious we need to expand to 12 teams, right?

What this shows is 2 things. And everyone, including me will hate this. But it's true.
1.) We don't need 4 teams, 2 is enough.
2.) The committee sucks at ranking the top 4.
We get so caught up in teams like Michigan, Cincy, Washington, Michigan State, etc "getting a chance". Even though it's painfully obvious who the best 2 teams are a lot of the times.
SEC Champion vs. either the SEC #2 or a random Ohio State/Clemson type team from year to year.

How the hell do you not know your own team played an OT game in the semis. It’s been a couple days, sober up!!

The 4 seed has won twice and the three seed has won once. Three out of eight years. I'd say four is appropriate.

How do you not recall Alabama vs. Clemson in the 2015 NC? Objectively one of the top 10 games of all time. Had a Heisman and Heisman runner up. A huge amount of first rounders. A kickoff touchdown. An onside kick.
Like, what else could you ask for?

Holy stupid post. Uga made the finals twice as a 3 seed.

He probably recalls it. Just isn’t relevant to the question he asked.

And we think expanding the playoffs is the answer? So #4 gets consistently blown out by #1 so let’s see how #8 will do. Truth is, in most years there are only 1 or 2 with true claims to a title.
