Indianapolis and Columbus are the most pedestrian, bland, generic, whatever cities in America. Cookie cutter cities if there is such a thing. Just generic chain store America. Both are fricking awful.

Expand on this. Doesn't this describe most cities in this country? New Orleans, New York, and maybe San Fran (in the old days) were unique, but everywhere else seems the same.
