I am talking about the big uglies and not 31

who in your opinion is behind him in effectiveness

this is hard for me as no one else stands out

He's been the most impressive defensive lineman to me this year. High effort guy who always plays hard. He's made some big plays, as well.

Dale and Young have been very solid, but yet Mathis has been the standout.

was hoping Smith would take a big leap and be that number 2 man but has not happened.

92 needed to take a leap. 18 has been hurt

You mean top 3 rounds right? Because yeah I’d agree. He isn’t seen as good as Barmore though who was thought of as a late 1st to early 2nd round guy

Philanderin Mathis has been great this year, even though he's mostly gone under the radar.

I still don’t know what Egboibe does to retain his starting position for the last two years. If anybody can elaborate on it, please do. Would love to know what his value is.

Byron Young was playing pretty good earlier in the year. He has had a pretty good year with TFL numbers.

Tim Smith has great potential and flashes at times. Egboigbe does a good job of not getting pushed around and he gets his hands on some passes at the LOS.

Overall our run defense has been really good this year and the DL is always the biggest factor there.

It's crazy how much he hasn't been talked about when he has like 8 sacks this year from the nose tackle position. It's beyond me

He’s been insanely under appreciated/under rated, wish he would get talked about more by fans/media. By far our best, most reliable and versatile interior d lineman. Expecting him to have a long successful nfl career.

He really has turned into a stout DL. He's greatest value may be as a leader though, he's become an alpha on that defense along with 31.

Big Phil plays with a mean streak. And all the big uglies on the DL are healthy going into this game. Big plus.
