Probably because Texas A&M now has the highest ranked class in recruiting history. Aggies aren't taking any other DL not named Shemar Stewart.

All 2 of them? Ohio State has signed 8 Texas top 50 players since 2018. 2 transferred out.

Good for him. He’d be the 4th highest rated guy on our DL this class. 5th is we can land Shermar.

He would be our fourth highest rated DL recruit. Probably the same role as White who’s ranked a little higher and we pushed hard for. If Abor wanted in I’m sure we would have figured it out but he wasn’t a priority for us anymore at this point

It's starting to feel like NIL and an open transfer market will make most of these posts inconsequential because the kids will just leave.

1-A&M has 6 of the top 22 (Nolan, Perkins, E. Stewart, Brownlow-Dindy, Harris, Weigman). Shemar Stewart hasn't committed or signed anywhere.
2-The #8 player in the Class of 2022 signed with Alabama (Jeremiah Alexander)

Lol, this is funny. A&M took a Kicker (who is playing in the other AA game btw so no scrub) but that knocked their average down.
The cumulative class is the best in history at this point and they are still very much in it for Stewart and Matthews. Also without counting either of them:
3 of the Top 6.

8 of the Top 50
15 of the Top 100.

You only 19 commits?! You think average is the best way compare them.
If you just take the top 19 in A&M’s class the median is .9726. I’m not doing the math but I’d expect the avg to be well north of 96.

OSU is one of the top 3 programs in the country. They have great history, a massive fanbase, put tons of players into the league.
Everyone can admit that and also say that A&M has an incredible DL haul this year
