You guys have a great basketball team...lots of talent but energy to burn sets ya'll apart.
But your fans all look like 1st grade sissies the way they shake their little pom poms and cheer. And who choreographed the little thing ya'll do when a player is at the free-throw line? Man up guys! Use your God-given voices and hand claps to make noise and leave the dancing to the cheerleaders!

Agreed. They are stacked and very balanced with few if any holes. If they stay healthy they could be right there as one of the best in the country.

I'm of the opinion that whatever it takes to make an environment difficult for opposing teams to play in a definitive home advantage is just fine.

It appears that whatever the fans are doing is making Auburn Arena a very difficult away game.

Complain away and hopefully Auburn Basketball keeps winning

Not critical, great atmosphere. But what is it about Pom poms and Alabama teams, including football. Just observational. Don't see it much elsewhere or I just haven't noticed. Kinda like visual cowbells.

I thought the Auburn fans brought great energy and created a great atmosphere. We should copy a lot of their updates in their arena and also move the students

Maybe Auburn should copy the LSU basketball atmosphere.... play in an outdated Arena that is now 50 years old, sporadic student attendance, seats so far away you need binoculars to see what's going on, never close to a sell-out, etc

But BootUp! LOL

Poorly stated on my part. Talking degrees. Didn't mean it was nonexistent elsewhere. I remember having one in 70 for the Norte dame game and one for the Tn game when we were really good in basketball. Dale brown
N years. They were on our seats.

Auburn seems like they have the best basketball atmosphere in the SEC. And it doesn't seem close, IMO.

It was especially noticeable when you got used to the energized crowd and then when the game ended, the broadcast flipped over to ALabama-Tennessee and it just seemed like such a drop-off in the energy.

Which is completely insane when you go back to the end of the Tony Barbee tenure.

You couldn't pay people to take your tickets for a game. The program was as close to dead as possible while still playing games. It was bad. Very bad.

Yes I do... and I would say that their basketball atmosphere is similar to Auburn's with the fans right on top of the Court.

Now tell me about the atmosphere at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center

I think the Pom Poms are a great energy source, especially in the student section. Duke's students use the Arm waving routines, but most college students sections do not have a way of releasing energy. AU's students use it the entire game.
