Liberty on ESPB. Malik with a dime to start the game

Great to see a potential 1st rounder playing in the bowl game.

Was a solid young man in high school and he remains that way. Respect and pulling for him to be drafted in the NFL.

Should have brought Freeze in as OC. I try not to think about what might of been. Cuz that was then, and we have taken different roads.

He's not an NFL QB, but he's a great athlete and from all accounts a good guy so I'm rooting for him.

He hates Auburn but he's one hell of a coach. Some program is going to offer him an arse ton of money in the next couple years.

What’s wrong with Bill Clark’s face? There looks likes a lime size mole on the side of it.

I think it got on there during the celebration with his team. Probably came off one of the uniforms.

I love that kid. He is such a classy guy and him playing in this bowl game when others are opting out just shows his character. He switched positions in high school to help his team in his senior year and took them to a state championship game.

He handled the transfer from Auburn in the SEC to Liberty and has made the most out of it. I dont feel like he is a NFL caliber QB but It looks like he is in every mock draft in the late first round or early second. So we will get to see

Im very happy for him getting this opportunity and hell, I didnt think Lamar Jackson would make a good NFL QB either so I dont know shite.

Pulling for Malik and hope he makes it and rakes in a pile of cash doing so.

Seeing Malik succeed just reinforces how badly AU has missed on QBs lately. I think someone will draft him, I don't think he will end up being a QB in the NFL. But I hope he balls out.

I've had years of cramped-up city life
Trapped like a duck in a pen
All I know is it's a pity life
Can't be simple again

I think there are a lot of reasons why he was not successful at Auburn. Im not sure it was a mistake on anyones part other than him being recruited to Auburn in the first place. He was not ready to play here and the system was not set up correctly for him to do well.

He is one of the examples of the portal working correctly.

I agree with all of this. My GF lived close to his HS so I heard a little about him before he started recruiting him. He's just a guy you root for. I think he admitted he wasn't ready to be the starter at Auburn, but he's put in the work at Liberty. I hope he gets every dime he can get. Speaking of Lamar Jackson.. that would be a good place for him. Be the back up, make lots of money, and learn from a very similar QB.

Scouts talk themselves into a lot of players. Matt Rhule still thinks he's good for some reason.
