If I was a 5 star, I’d wanna play where I’d have the best chance to get rings before collecting my NFL payday. Why are all these top recruits going to tAMu to ride the Aggie coaster and finish 7-5?

There’s plenty of examples of programs who recruited at a monumental level and never got it done.

The horns are a perfect example of this. You need all the cards to fall right to win the hand, and that includes coaching and players, and to a lesser extent schedule.
We used to be playing with a pair of 4s and the occasional Ace, but now we’ve got better cards. Not saying the hand will win a natty, but it’s a huge step in the right direction.

This year was the perfect storm for A&M to haul in a monster recruiting class.
Their NIL plus Texas was awful along with coaching changes at LSU and OU.

It was kind of painful seeing you go 7-6 with Tannehill, Swope, Gray, etc

I get #1 is #1, but they’re usually top ten.
