Why on earth would A&M go anywhere near Nix if they didn't want Ewers? The only QB A&M might consider in the portal is Ward from Incarnate Word.

Nix is probably a 1 year guy and would be an emergency plan if King or Weigman get aren't ready or get hurt. A guy like Ewers could be a QB room cancer if he doesn't start and he likely would not. Ags need a 1 and done.

You may be right though. In 2021, Bo Nix scored more points for TAMU than Calzada did, so there's that.

We play against him every year so we have seen him a lot. He kinda sucks man. He led his team to 3 points against us and gave up 7 points when the ball slipped out of his hand unforced.
He makes some wild amazing plays here and there but looks like shite for long stretches. I think he also has the NCAA record for overthrowing RBs in the flat. I've never seen a QB miss so many short dump passes.

I’m sure you said the same about Kyler Murray and Joe Burrow too. Not saying he’s as good as them but hes had to deal with extremely shitty coaching and an awful OL his entire career at Auburn. He’s a massive douchebag but Bo Nix is a way better player than he gets credit for and he would take A&M to new heights. For that reason I really hope he doesn’t go there but y’all would be absolute fools to turn him down if he’s interested. If you think Haynes King is better than Nix you need to lay off the drugs.
