If you think about it a mullet really is just plain practical for a football player

You get all the advantages of having long hair and it looking cool coming out the back of the helmet, but without looking like a weirdo wearing a headband under your helmet to keep the hair outta your eyes.
Really just makes him look like a chick.
With a mullet you're 100% man 100% the time.
This is the look of a man who doesn't have to ask his girlfriend for her headband so he can play football.

What a high quality mullet man. We just don't have the guys around anymore that can cut em like they used to. Quinn's hair can't hold a candle to that.

Texas will be far from infallible over the next couple of seasons with Ewers, but Texas Tech never beats us. I'm almost embarrassed for them. Hell, they were ahead of us by 15 with 3 min to go two seasons ago, and they still choked it.

You must have been born in 1998 or later. The 1988 and 1997 teams were leaps and bounds worse than the 2021 version.
The 1997 version lost 66-3 at home to an unranked team while ranked in the top 10.
To recap how bad your 1997 team was.
66-3 loss to UCLA at home. (still the worst home loss ever by a top ten team)
42-16 loss to Oklahoma State (pre-Les Miles)
37-29 loss to Missouri (pre-Gary Pinkel)

23-21 loss to Baylor (the Dave Roberts version)
24-10 loss to Texas Tech (pre-Leach)
The only thing your team did well that season was beat a John Blake Oklahoma team and only lose to A&M by 11 (when it was raining so hard they had to stop the game after the cannon fired because no one could see anything)
