How do you know Leach doesn't think this is also selfish?
And I agree with the players who sit out meaningless bowl games in most cases. I think the vast majority of them would play if they were in the playoffs. This is why we have to expand the playoffs. It is the dumbest thing ever. The NCAA basketball tourney used to be 4 teams. I can't imagine NCAA hoops without March madness.
And for those who say it hurts the regular season, I would point to the Houston vs Bama basketball game last night as proof that is not true.

How is expanding the playoffs going to make these game more meaningful? The more games, the higher possibilty of getting hurt. If anything it just encourages them to declare for the draft earlier.
