Looks like Napier doesn’t understand the SEC after all. He just made his first BIG recruitment at Florida and that was flipping a prospect from the Cajuns to the Gators. This prospect had no offers besides the offer from the Cajuns, btw.

It's going to be harder for him to flip people from LSU to the Gators. That's why he wanted to be here so bad. But at some point you just got to take the money and get paid and let the chips fall where they may.

Maybe he trusts his evaluation?

This year Max Mitchell from UL was an all-American and the Sunbelt conference player of the year.
In the last couple of years, Kevin dotson is a starter for the steelers, and Robert hunt is a starter for the dolphins.
I'm pretty sure that hes good at evaluating offensive line talent

I don’t see what’s funny either. He found a player and really likes and is taking him to Florida.

OL has been a ULL strength under Napier for sure, and he seems to evaluate and develop guys who fit his system. Starting C Vallot was a walk-on, backup RG Hudson was an undersized walk-on and wound up starting two games and playing well this year.

Last year, UL was the best offer my son got, and Napier also offered Kam Waites from Texas after the summer program started. He didn't even play HS football because his school was too small.

So Napier definitely has a plan when it comes to OL recruiting.

Kid's 6'4 320 lbs. Considering ULL has 2 OG's listed in the top 50 in the Nation, Ill trust Billy's evals.

You guys are ate up with Napier.

The worst part is you're too stupid to realize Napier does his own evaluations, his ULL teams have had great lines so he doesn't rely on 247 and rivals like you.

Then why didn't LSU AD not even give him an interview?

.

Because he was too busy offering an 8-4 coach $13.5 million per. Only to be turned down.
Then he hired a real southern man, who was just in Baton Rouge, with his fa-faaaaaammmmmmillleeeeee.

1 thing here.

The guy is a OL. That seems to be the position where a ton of lower rated guys develop to be high end players and maybe he just really likes the guy.

If he starts flipping their entire commitment list then yeah, that’s a problem but one OL he probably has a high grade on?

I mean that’s a big lad. There are as many 2* offensive linemen in the NFL as 5*. It’s a tough position to evaluate. Certainly wouldn’t write a kid off with that size
