What if Kirby and Saban basically agreed to settle this in the national championship.

Kirby comes in with a bland defensive plan. No major pressure. Also, play the second string QB. Both coaches and teams end up in national title to settle 2021.

Just a thought...

While it might make you feel better, that would suck.

I do think Kirby relented and Saban respected it late in the game to keep us as close as it was.

Yes… I do think there was something going on there. That game ending french kissing said enough.

Same weird strategy was pulled back when Bama lost to Auburn and then matched us in the championship. It just felt like they were both playing a long game.

That’s a nice thought but in reality our secondary got torched and we couldn’t convert twice in the red zone.

Maybe Kirby is really still Saban’s right hand man and this is all part of his diabolical plan to inflict permanent blue balls on bulldog nation?

Bowers is personally responsible for one of the interceptions by breaking off his route.

I would imagine Kirby has a bonus clause in his contract for winning the SEC. I don't think he'd forgo dollars for that.

Freshman mistake. He won't do that again.
