We also have to realize Bama is Saban's team...not any of his assistants'. We have been facing probably the actual GOAT HC, not GOAT tongue and cheek but THE GOAT given the annual coaching carousel of teams poaching his assitants, changes in the game, and recruiting battles--and yet they're annually the team everyone has to beat. He's a master at what he does and he proves it every year.

Also, don't discount his rant defending his players last week from "self-absorbed Bama fans" plus the media disrespect leading up to the SECCG. That may have provided whatever lack of spark they had against AU. Maybe they came into Auburn thinking it would be a cakewalk and got their wake-up call.

We've seen this before where Bama struggles or loses a game and then God help the next opponent...we were that next opponent.

BY came out with a Heisman performance and their OL had a lot to prove and rose to the challenge against a UGA team that could afford 1 loss. We'll see what's next.

Alive. A fan. Just still hurting.

Standing in that building and even getting teased with a 10-0 lead makes it worse. An obvious dawgs country building was ROCKING. Only to come 4th quarter and have a souped up version of Dixieland delight coming on and armies of pom poms that I swear to god hadn’t been there earlier moving in unison like the fricking unsullied army out of GOT.

That one is going to be only be able to be forgotten one way. So. A long way to say alive but shell shocked still
