Cambridge is the definition of streaky shooter.
I think we can retire this myth. He had a couple of good shooting games his freshman year which gave him the "streaky" label ever since. Truth is he's a bad shooter with an UGLY shot. He also just so happens to be probably the most athletic guy on the team.

IMO we have to start running more. Our half court O has struggled all year.. when we run we can take advantage of our depth and athleticism.

I agree with that. When we run we suddenly have depth again .

I don’t disagree, but more tempo will lead to more turnovers… this team can overcome anything (including bad shooting) when it takes care of the ball and rebounds.

I’m ready for this team to get some rest… four days off before Thursday will be nice.

I think Cambridge is at his best helping this team out by rebounding and slashing to the basket. And he definitely has an ugly looking shot. But he was 100% a "streaky" shooter as a Sophomore last year. He had 6 games last year where he made 3+ 3 pointers in a game with a 3FG % of 33.3% or better. That is nearly 25% of our games last year where he was very serviceable as a shooter. His percentage was so poor last year, because he also had a few games where he went 1-9, 2-8, and 1-10 from 3. He has 0 games this year where he has 3+ 3 pointers.

On a separate note, I do think it is time that we start looking to get C Mo more minutes. His shot isn't nearly as ugly as Devan's or Flans and he hustles and could be a contributor on the boards. Is he that bad defensively, or is Bruce just trying to give Flanigan every last chance possible to turn this around?

Edit: And just looking further into Cambridge's stats for the season. Starting with the Uconn game he went 7 straight games making at least 1 three and shooting 33% or better. In those games he shot 50%, 50%, 40%, 33%, 33%, 67%, and 100% from 3. Since that streak ended (starting with the Saint Louis game on the road) he has only made 6 three pointers in 19 games. This is truly just the worst stretch of shooting for him in his career.
