UGA is huge inside so maybe you play someone like George at guard this week. and use Ekiyor at C

He's (George) big and strong and moves well, just not well enough to deal with speed rushers at RT. I think we just have to hold our noses and live with Owens at RT.

I'm just afraid the centers we have are going to get mauled because they aren't very big.

The good news is that Jordan Davis is not a 3 down player. I hope that the plan is to play fast, we don't have to get the play off fast, but get step up fast so they sub for him.

I don't think their big guys can hold up for long if we keep them on the field and don't allow subs. I keep thinking about when we had those monsters on the DL who couldn't maintain out there on the field for long drives and other teams started playing fast against us.

I think the Ekiyor at center ship sailed two years ago. If he was a viable center option, he wouldn’t be behind Dalcourt, and McLaughlin.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he too has snapping issues

I do think it’s an intriguing idea to beef up the interior against Davis. Really depends on how much of the run game factors into the gameplan. My biggest concern with George’s guard is how good is he at identifying and picking up stunts and blitzes. We can expect Kirby/Lanning to blitz a ton. Doesn’t really help to have a bigger guy in the middle if he’s just going to attempt to block the wrong man
