In 2010 LSU was building for 2011. Last year they had what most objective people would call one of the greatest teams ever until 1/9. However, all was not lost on 1/9 because the 2012 team was supposed to be even better. But now with losing the best player on the team/main game changer (HB) and starting a rookie QB (who has looked an awful lot like a rookie to this point - lots of ints in practice), is 2013 the year now?

Kind of like how Auburn is always "young."

2012 edition may well be much better 2011. The 2013 club, I suspect, may be the one that is not one of the faavorites for ATL/BCS...not saying a 8-4 step back just saying not one the favorites. I have a feeling we will be losing a whole lot of guys after 2012.
======================
Though we do have alot of young talent that will play this year...who knows, club may be pretty good for awhile.

We should overall be a bit better this year. You are never guaranteed anything.

I think back to back 12 wins seasons should be considered pretty great. We should be able to achieve that this year.

I know 1/9 sucked for us but only one team can win a year and I think a lot of our fans forget that fact.

I agree those were pretty good teams (although the first didn't play the unanimous #1 team in the county and the second lost to Arky and Kentucky) but it just seems like since then LSU has always had good teams that were just one year away from being special.

Have a decent shot at a 3 year 36-4, 38-3 mark.

Starting pre 2011 season I have always said 2011 was bama's year to win it and 2012 was LSU's year. Go check my post history. I think last years team took everybody by surprise and I contribute a lot of the success to preparing for Oregon to start the year.

do you mean the practice where mett threw 2 ints but threw for 5 tds?

Where is this coming from? I believe the only two years Auburn has claimed to be young was last year and this year which in both cases are true. Just look at the numbers.

Thank you. I haven't researched your post history, but you seem like a great guy too.

Not sure why any of my 4 post are bad - they are all legit questions/statements if your read the full post and all lead to fairly good conversations.

Just an odd trend when your 100 or so posts on this board are so slanted in favor of LSU threads such as these.
