Most unstoppable play in NFL history. Gotta be only a matter of time before the league changes the rule. QB sneaks aren't supposed to be automatic. Incredible.

I was thinking the same thing. They had a rule against assisting the runner or some shite like that because of the injuries but when they did away with that a few years ago, this play came back.

That was actually a common play in early days of football, kinda like a rugby scrum or something

I have no clue why everyone isn’t running it. It’s damn near impossible to stop and then you know when you step out of it any pass will be wide open

Article says the NFL specifically made it legal, so I doubt it. Sounds like defenses just aren't good at stopping it for that team only.

Maybe defensively stop them from getting to your 1 yard line? Crazy right?

Jalen Hurts may be the only NFL QB that squats 600 lbs.

I guess that defensive coordinators gameplanning to go against the Eagles this season never thought of this or considered it.

NFL has allowed pushing ball carrier since 2005. College also began allowing it in the past 5 or so years. I know in college you cannot pick up the ball carrier, but you can push him. (I assume NFL rule is the same).

Therefore I have zero problems with it. They are playing within the rules best I can tell. Don't hate the playa for playing the game.

Having a 92% success rate gaining 1 yard really isn't all that mind-blowing.

They're really good at it, but that can't be too far outside the norm for converting 1 yard.

Really hard to stop when the lt dives before the ball is even snapped too.

I love that people think Philly invented this play.

The purple wizard did it 7 yrs ago at Kansas State and apparently no one seemed to notice.

Snyder implemented it as soon as CFB dropped the 'push' penalty.

Now adjust the success rate percentage for "when everybody and their grandma knows it's coming."

That is a phenomenal success rate. I would think others are probably no more than 60%.

if i were a shite team playing the eagles i would run it every play and get 3 yards every time. then every snap they took id have my d tackle swipe the ball from the center trying to "jump the count"
it's an abortion of a play and should be outlawed

Not everyone has an Ox named Hurts or Taysom running the the ball at QB.
shite Hurts has stronger legs that the lineman in front of him so that helps.
