And that team was not Alabama, Auburn, UAB or even Troy.
The winner is actually USA or University of South Alabama for its destruction of Oklahoma State on the Road.

They don’t actually have a school food, as they all eat on campus or their apartments.
But they are a really good team, abs Tulane beat them handily, who Ole Miss beat. If Ole Miss beats Bama and auburn they will be Alabama champs

Everyone remembers the 11+ win seasons, but no one seems to remember Gundy's average record is 8-4. Still a great record for Oklahoma State but he's never fielded a consistent power program

That coach for South Alabama is the real deal... Former Arkansas fullback in the early 00s and formerly on Indiana staff and propped up that progran a lot, along with Penix.
He will be a hot name this offseason for some of the better G5 jobs or maybe even some P5 jobs.
