Should NCAA consider moving finals back a week in the near future?

Seems unfair/unhealthy to play the finals so close. Food for thought. Ensures each team can showcase their ace in the finals.

That's only because you're going to a game 3.

A whole week? Absolutely not. Should they have removed those 2 rest days in 2016 or whenever it was? Probably not. But it is what it is.

No it puts a premium on winning bracket in 3

No . It happens often that the ace can’t pitch in the finals. Imagine also the fans being able to plan go next weekend !!

Wrong- I agree. Ridiculous to have a bullpen game in game 1 of a championship series. Let each team trot out what got them there. Ace vs Ace is how it should start....unless someone gets cute and pitches their Ace in game 2.

This. It was fine with the series starting on Monday.

Baseball is to random for that. Not all brackets are equal. To much chance. The championship series should have somewhat of a reset.

Then that team should've gone 3-0. It's a tournament, not 2 weekend series.

Can’t complain with format because it doesn’t help us this year.

I am fine with UF having an advantage for going 3-0, but if LSU makes it and forces a third game in the championship series it’s kinda ridiculous that Skenes is unavailable for the entire series, which would not be the case 2016 and prior.

I have complained about hte format even when it benefits us or we aren't in it.

Saying "you should have won" is just stupid because the two brackets are entirely separate from each other and have no bearing. Why not punish teams that played 3 games in the SR also?

I just want to see the best baseball by whoever is in the championship series.

That seems practical to have teams stay in hotels for a week in Omaha while not playing any games.

It’s a marathon not a sprint. No way, the best complete team with the most pitching wins. How it’s always been, stop fricking with shite. We would still have the BCS if it weren’t for butheads like you.

I don't have a dawg in this fight. But I have played and coached a lot of baseball. And this is stupid to play at this level with such a format.
