I guess I hadn't really thought about it until OP posted it, but that is crazy. Losing 3 straight season openers is pretty wild for a team of LSU's caliber. They were of course all against P5 competition but still just playign the odds that seems like it'd be a pretty unlikely feat.

The "good" thing I guess is that it doesn't REALLY matter that much to your season if you do lose these OOC P5 games in week 1. If you make the SEC CG and win with 1 loss you're in the playoffs, period. No quesitons asked. I think if you made the SECCG with 2 losses and won you'd still probably have a better than 50/50 shot but of course it'd be entirely dependent on the other conference champs.

Yeah, I'd agree. Didn't seem like last year's loss was hurting LSU too much in the rankings but 0-1 starts are getting old as frick

To be fair, Coach O won a natty and then retired without telling anyone. The last one was handed to FSU, so hopefully we'll right the ship this year.
