Thought this may help...
5 stages of grief
Persistent, traumatic grief can cause us to cycle (sometimes quickly) through the stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance.
These stages are our attempts to process change and protect ourselves while we adapt to a new reality

Remember those steps when they leave you out of the playoff

We’d have to have something to grieve over, bud.

Who's grieving? Game went as expected, and Nuss showed some promise for the future.

Bama's not getting in, see I'm at the acceptance stage.

Lol, we hear and we good. We just got to keep working.
Maybe next year, if Bama works hard they can get in.

Each one of them will never admit it.
But they will kick the dog and hit the wife Tuesday night.
While their wives frick their brothers for revenge sex on Wednesday.

Grieve? Really? You serious. Tiger fans been rejoicing ever since BDK put it to the midget. Clinched the west a week or so after that was just a lil lagniappe. Not a single tiger fan expected atlanta in year one.
It's the tide nation that needs your five stages of grief program. Last year was their rebuild year and they won the west, SEC and played for the natty. This year with the reigning heisman winner and best defensive player in all of college football was going to be their new awakening. It just wasn't in the cards for the crimson naion. Maybe next year.

The team improved this year. Moving in the right direction.

LSU is not mad because they were playing with house money and just happy to be there. They know Georgia was better. They were just looking for any hope their program is going to turn around and it was Kelly's first year. They didn't expect anything and they got to beat Bama and got to the SECCG. Of course they are happy.
