Could this Vols group go down as the third-best WR group in SEC history behind 2019 LSU and 2019 Alabama?

Doubtful. Wyatt is their only elite wr

AJ Brown, Elijah Moore DK Metcalf and Dawson Knox all played together.

That's a very underrated group that doesn't get talked about often.

Only in 2018. Moore didn't do much that season and Metcalf's production was pedestrian. Knox is a tight end. No where near the top three teams listed above.

Tillman has been a projected first-rounder.

Metcalf wasn’t pedestrian, he got hurt.

Let's see what they do in the league in comparison to say, Jefferson/Chase/Marshall. They are benefiting from a system that no one has figured out yet.

You mean two teams. Those two were more productive collegiately but as far as talent the OM group are at least “near” them.

Elijah Moore and Dawson Knox suck

Those Alabama and LSU groups produced a combined 6 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks, and a 6th round pick.
Is there a single 1st round guy on this Tennessee team? They're all good players, but I'm not seeing any of them with that type draft prediction
Hyatt could threaten to surpass Chase and Smith's single-season TD numbers, though

But what did they accomplish in college?

You'd have to put Bama 2021 in there too. TWO thousand yard receivers.

I didn't say he was pedestrian, I said his production was.
26 catches for 569 yards would put him fourth or fifth in production on 2019 Alabama and clearly fourth on 2019 LSU. The numbers just don't compare.

Nowhere near the production or talent of the two 2019 teams.

His older brother Chet doesn't think so.

I think what he's saying is that his numbers were pedestrian because he missed half the season.
From a talent standpoint, that Ole Miss crew has to be in the convo.

According to Herby & ESPN, Tennessee “system” is the Art Briles system. It’s been around 20+ yrs.

This is your daily reminder that Will Muschamp told Jaylin Hyatt he wasn't good enough to play WR in the SEC.

I believe they led the SEC in offense twice. Being hamstrung by very bad defenses does not diminish their legacy and talent.
