AD Greene makes no decisions. He is a figurehead, nothing more. You all know this.

I guess he couldn’t get the big boosters to pony up on the buyout.

(Speculation) Though, the big boosters didn’t care about Leath giving him that ridiculous extension.

Georgia is a state laden with talent. Bama is in an unprecedented run. We compete with both of them for recruits.

Please, enlighten me, how is Auburn supposed to outmatch them?

Not sure but just not look like donkey shite all year.

We did fine against them last year. We have the resources and history to be a top five SEC program for recruiting. There’s no reason to get beat by a hapless Tennessee team at home or blown out by anyone.

Jesus Christ, I'm glad the coaches and players throughout Auburn history weren't surrender monkeys like you.

Well, thUGA had the balls to fire a 10 win coach because they wanted to do better. But we can't pull the trigger on a 7-8 win loser.

Don't really care about all that at this point. After losses to Mississippi State and Tennessee I guess 7-5 with a shite bowl is better than I expected at that time.

We'll beat Liberty. Lose to Bama and hopefully win the Bowl game.

Stidham is gone one way or another. Gatewood or Nix could refresh the offense. I hope we get Freeze as the OC.

I trust him to run an offense and Gus won't be able to tell him anything. Freeze will be brought in by the real guys calling the shots and Gus won't do anything but what he's told.

I hope like hell we recruit every single o-line grad transfer that's good enough and promise them starting jobs from day one.

Yeah, and they hired an Alum who coached under Saban for the better part of a decade. Propose a better option for our coaching or stop bitching. Personally, if I were a coach I'd be hesitant to go to Auburn. We run coaches off at the first sign of turmoil.

Honestly, I've gained more sympathy for Gus this season. His players have played with little courage, especially the QB.

He also essentially had to replace his entire O-line. His offensive style is completely run-first. Without a competent line it just doesn't work.

Gus' teams are hot/cold. When they have good lines they are dominant, otherwise they suck. I'd rather be in that situation that LSU, where they are consistently decent and lose to Bama every year.

Can some of you come to terms that we as Auburn have never been a consistently dominant program? I would love to be that, and I think that is more likely to come from having a consistent coaching staff which has the freedom to build a winning team.

There have been several coaches listed that could do better than 8-5. Where have you been?

This is year number 6, and the turmoil has been consistent. Also, Auburn has given more chances to undeserving coaches than most programs. Not sure how you can say this.

6 actually.

2-4 against LSU.

2-4 against UGA.

2-3 against Bama with another game coming up (so probably 2-4).

Not that that's anything to brag about.

But it is 6.

If we lose to Bama 2 weeks from now, Malzahn's record against our primary (LSU) and historical (UGA and Bama) rivals will be 6-12.

33% winning percentage seems to make the powers-that-be swoon and start shoveling over gobs of cash to Gus... puzzling.
