The newly-hired defensive coordinator, much like he has done at other stops, punched a board inside the locker room at halftime, defensive tackle Montravius Adams revealed in March.

"It was actually the Wisconsin game, me and LaDarius Owens were watching a video, the Tennessee game, and he had said something, and he punched the board," Adams said. "And then at halftime, I swear it was like a replay in my head, same thing at Wisconsin."

Here's video of halftime during a Texas game to give you an idea of what the players experienced

If they play like they did last year, Boom will have a cast on his hand. I know I wanted to punch shite too, watching that defense the last couple of years.

Imagine what he could destroy with casts on his hands.

At the Wisconsin game, was he mad about plays or mad he said yes?

I love it, I can't wait to see this defense go. It could set up the offense for some insane stats by seasons end.

Honestly every DC should be like that. I've never had a laid back DC. I'm not sure if EJ was the type to go ballistic in practice, but his overall demeanor didn't indicate to me he knew how to motivate our players to play at a high level...let alone teach them to be in position to make a play.

Last year I wasn't flipping or breaking shite. It was a disgusted laugh that resonated in the RV lot or in my apartment.
