If you get kicked in the nuts enough you learn to walk up on the side of a horse. He could make some small adjustments and win out, but I won't believe it until I see it. Arky is bad so staying in it and changing up was just window dressing. He will TubberGusshell again.
GSU would be perfect for him.

For whatever reason, GSU seems to be married to the option offense. They went to a more open style and the powers that be didn't like it, so they brought in the guy from Georgia Tech to put it back in, didn't they?

I think Mama calls him home... Auburn can then become his Super Bowl. Arkie fans will be happy..

And they're 0-6, are #127 out of #130 in offensive yards per play, and just got beat by 5 TDs by one of the only other previously winless teams in FBS.

So yeah, they might end up going in a different direction after this year.

How many times has he “given up play calling” or “went with a more ya da off approach”. He won’t. He’s proven over and over again to be a stubborn coach who can’t stay out of his own way.

I agree that Gus still believes he can get us to 2013/14 offensive form + that his system doesn't need major tinkering.

I just think Auburn is enabling him into this thinking. Once Auburn fires him, Gus will be forced to confront his offensive problems and find ways to actually innovate on offense again
