I find this question amusing because I barely feel like I’m able to keep up with our roster, much less how we rank among others even just in the SEC.

Yeah, kinda why I asked the question. I feel we have picked up some good players, but no idea where we stand currently in the grand scheme of talent.

Defense - good (not sure our weak spots on D) O-line - no idea, but we haven't had a good o-line in a while have we? QB - no idea, but could be good RB - we always good there TE- good WRs - very very good Kicker - best in the country!

Defense
DBs - good. Young but a ton of talent
Lbs - gonna depend a lot on how good the Maryland transfer is
DL - good with potential to be great.
best we’ve been there since 2019.
Edge - this is my main concern.
Hopefully Chris Murray is good.
Offense
Qb Good with Great Potential

Rb I’m worried, hope Cobb takes the next step or Alvin learns how to pass block

WR best group on the team. Possibly best AU has ever had.

Punter - good
Kicker - great as long as Alex is healthy.

Season once again depends on qb play. 9-3/10-2 type talent.

If Arnold looks like he did in spring we’ll be good.

Most of recruiting ratings are for sale now. You got enough money you too can be a 4*.

He played QB primarily in high school. He played corner sparingly

That's not really telling the entire story and not just sparingly at CB. You dont get 46 tackles in one season only playing sparingly at CB. And he was basically a Wildcat QB and played a little WR. He had 1 passing TD in his JR year. He had zero pass yards as a senior and 4 catches. While two other guys passed for 2100 yards.

Here are Parker stats for 2024.

He was rated that high prior to the 2024 season where he was the starting QB.

Yeah but he clearly played CB in HS as well and he was recruited to play CB so whats the problem?

That's completely different than what I said.

A lot of times you put your best skill player at QB. Every school isn’t Hoover or Central where they have a 3 deep at every position.

Offord played 2 ways. That's different.

Offord is no Kobe Hudson, Stanton Truitt, Jason Smith, Ryan Davis.

He played what he was meant to play and plus others.

He had less than 5 passing attempts in HS. He was clearly used at QB for his athletic and running ability. Schools weren't recruiting him because they thought they could get a HS QB to change positions to CB.

That's what your original post implied by saying he was primarily a QB who played a little CB.

Dang, I missed OL.

OL probably the best we’ve had in 9-10 years.

I am a little worried about RT, but that much better than previous years.
