They make critical basketball IQ errors that cost them. They make too many fundamental errors in crunch time.

We scored 80 pts. Offense wasn't our problem.
Yeah this is probably more accurate. Our defense gave up 55 points in the 2nd. Seems like the pace might have gotten to them.

It was nice to see some besides KT and Denson scoring (Tahj stepped up with 16 points), but damn we so production for our bench. 13 points just isn't cutting it.

We surprising did well with turnovers though. Only 8 yesterday, which is an improvement. But yeah, this team is far from clutch when it matters

Strange game. Had our chances. Too many fouls in second half.

If tajh can keep improving we might have a chance to finish with a decent conference record which is shocking considering the 0-6 start
We still have miss st, vandy, sc, and tn at home and a&m and al on the road which are all winnable games

I can actually watch this team right now without cringing every time we touch the ball. I still don't support Barbee but I am impressed with how they stuck together and didn't completely fall apart after starting 0-6

If I knew he could actually keep the roster together I would have no problem with us keeping Barbee for another year. As is I'm back and forth on whether we should keep him. I'd really like to see Sam Longwood in O&B next year.

Longwood

Dudes gonna be solid.. he has the size and length to make an impact in the SEC from day 1. If we fire Barbee I wonder what the odds are that he asks for a release of his LOI. Probably depends if Miller was retained or not.

For those that want a chuckle
quote:

“Watching tape of Auburn, Tony is doing so many good things with this team,” John Calipari said Monday on the Southeastern Conference’s weekly coaches’ teleconference. "His guard play is outstanding. His big guys are active, and the stuff that he’s running.

"They started with a ridiculous (Southeastern Conference) schedule that any of us would have been on a losing streak against. He’s [Barbee] coaching as well as anybody in this conference or in the country. To keep that going and the way they are playing is just amazing."

Someone is looking out for his former assistant. Got to hand it to Cal for his loyalty

So after we lose to Ky and Fla, if we split the other 6 and end up 6-10 and 14-15, does Barbee survive?

We'd be 6-12, and I sure as hell hope Barbee would be shown the door

I know a lot here are students, but I got tickets off of stubhub for the Kentucky game for $12 bucks in the lower level. Uppers were going for $7. A lot cheaper than going through AU.

I'm a student and won't be there due to test the next day but I like the upper blue seats more than the lower orange bowl.
