I hope they can Barbee tonight, but I just don't see our AD paying a ton of money to show him the door. I think he'll be back next year.

Our new basketball arena has been put to good use doing everything except hosting a basketball team that doesn't suck.

I think Auburn can make a point by firing Barbee now rather than later that shows they actually care about the Basketball
program and also get a head start on the other SEC programs like Bama, UT, and Mizzou that may be looking for a coach in the offseason
It's literally a lose/lose situation but at least we want have to watch Barbee steal money from us for the remainder of the season

At some point, you have to send a message. Not saying Barbee will get fired during the season, but this team has been an absolute joke for the last two years. 0-5 now in a bad SEC. If we continue to regress like this, which, I mean, who are we kidding, I won't be surprised if he's shown the door before the end of the season.

I saw this on Twitter earlier tonight, but early in the game Auburn was assessed a technical because Matthew Atewe tried to check into the game, but wasn't in the scorebook.
How does a damn program get in such a sorry state that, prior to the game, they fail to get all their damn players put into the fricking scorebook?

@AUHoopsBlog is so biased and unaccepting of reality it's embarrassing.
I can understand Stephen Hooks not accepting reality because he spends thousands of $ to watch this shitshow up close but it's unbelievable.

Not sure if people really think Auburn could hire Bruce Pearl, but he's unemployed right now isn't he?
Why not bring him in midseason to keep other programs from trying to hire him? Or is his show cause still active? (Not that it would matter, because Auburn could probably have a pretty easy argument to the NCAA to show why they should be allowed to hire him)
