Not sure if people really think Auburn could hire Bruce Pearl, but he's unemployed right now isn't he?
Why not bring him in midseason to keep other programs from trying to hire him? Or is his show cause still active? (Not that it would matter, because Auburn could probably have a pretty easy argument to the NCAA to show why they should be allowed to hire him)
I imagine it will be cheaper to fire Barbee at the end of the season instead of midseason...not sure though, it depends on his contract

If you think that is bias, try reading warblogle.
That guy gets super pissed if you try to talk reality or how much of a homer he is.

I blocked WarBlogle back in the 2012 football season for that same reason.
People have to realize UA isn't holding us back as much as they believe. We had talented guys come in and get in trouble or transfer every single year. Barbee couldn't hold onto EJ Ross, Josh Langford, Willy Kouassi, Bernard Morena, Shaq Johnson, Jordan Price, Cedrick McAfee and all of them except Morena started and played significant minutes and could've contributed down the road. Discipline is Barbee's biggest enemy and he lost it.
If we could've retained those players it's probably a different story.

you forgot about brian greene jr who transfered because the amount of minutes he was getting from game to game could range from 2-25 in any given game

When there's so many to name I was bound to forget a couple

Lost discipline? Or one of the only coaches that still believes in it?
Either way it is the coaches fault for recruiting and bringing these characters on campus.

quote:It could be either way. But why are all of these guys one strike and transfer? Undisciplined players come into a program and should become disciplined. These guys apparently came in undisciplined and left the program with the same problems they entered with.. Barbee didn't fixed their problem, he pushed them out the door instead (or let them walk).
