Just beat sc and the season is a success. Go out early in sec tourney and see what we can do in NCAA. As bad as everything seems, we barely lost to FL and down 10 here. The SC game sucked last time, but overall, it’s not quite as bad as we’re making it out to be.

I could have taken not winning the title if we'd simply been out played, but losing McElmore has completely changed what made this team great. What are the odds of losing him and KJ in such crucial times in the same calendar year?

For me, no. Not at all. This is FAR BETTER than anything I expected. This season has been a fricking blast. And I think it will continue into next year. That’s a huge win to me

It's not a choke job, it's just sad to see the team deteriorate like this. Really hope we can at least win a share. These guys deserve it for this season of play.

Trust me I want the title. Bad. But to claim it’s a choke job is laughable to me with everything that has happened.

You mean when two of our biggest players have been hurt? This isn’t football. It’s basketball. You lose games. Y’all act like we haven’t done this all year. Arkansas just dropped fricking 50. Y’all think they’re gonna do the same this half? Maybe. But chances are not. We have shown we can do this.

I mean, it's fine to keep perspective, but at some point the expectations change.
A week ago, this team was going to with the SEC, likely outright, give the SECT a shot and maybe win 2 games in the tournament. And some say that was lowered from a few weeks before that.
This team has earned something to hang in the arena, I just hope they can close it out.

Well we gave 2 games away vs Scar and UF with dumb turnovers and tonight we are doing it with bad D. I could live with it if it was not a effort thing. However both those things are usually effort. So in that respect it is a choke job. Seems like we have let off the gas.
