their qb:

STATS
2019
CMP ATT CMP% YDS AVG TD INT LNG RTG
200 351 57.0 2,366 6.8 15 6 78 124.3

2018 LSU SEC JR QB 13 219 379 57.8 2894 7.6 7.9 16 5 133.2

Bo’s and Burrow’s stats are almost identical, question is how do we transform Bo into Burrow?

He is a senior? We had one with Cam. They will be average next year.

It's all Burrow. He's playing out of his mind. Coach O will be gone in a few years without him.

They are giving him a lot of opportunities to play out of his mind

Is it not the passing coordinator they hired from the Saints?

I thought this was obvious.

The scheme he is using was prevalent during the 90s, folks figured it out then and they will figure it out again.

Burrow is a unique QB. LSU will fall back next year.

You can't replicate what Burrow and the LSU offense is doing right now.

They are all time great just like Cam/Auburn offense in 2010. Sometimes everything falls into place.

Whatever. AU lost to lsu by 3 in baton rouge. AU had a hell of a team this year. 3 close losses to top 10 teams. How many times have you heard we just want to be competitive with top teams? This team was soooooo close to what they had as their ultimate goal.

We should have beaten them. We don’t have to change much

What stats are those?

LSU brought in Joe Brady, passing scheme wizard, and transformed their offense night and day. Burrow is very good and wouldn’t succeed under LSU’s old offense, Orgeron brought in Joe Brady and changed that. But I doubt Gus would allow another coach under him to do an offensive overhaul.

Senior QB. New offensive coordinator that he obviously clicked with. Add to that the fact that Burrow took all online classes this year so he could work with his WRs more after practices.

They also are doing significantly better job of utilizing RB in their passing attack both in routes + check down passes. LSU has roughly 600 yards receiving by primary running backs alone this year.

For comparison

Boobie, DJ, Kam accounted for 6% of Auburn recptions (14 / 212)

LSU top 3 RB Rushers accounted for 19.3% of LSU receptions before semifinal (66/342)

Edit: AU top 3 RB Rusher % share of AU Completions

2018: 11.6%
2017: 11.8%
2016: 11.8%
2015: 12.9%
2014: 13.9%
2013: 9.8%

I love how they used CEH out of the backfield. A lot of plays are just option routes for him on a LB where he can go any direction.

If this contributed to the fricking beast that Burrow has become then we need our entire team to take online classes.
