So I'm trying to save up for our tournament run and can't justify spending 2 or 3 hundred dollars for a regular season game but would still like to get into the atmosphere in some way.

Thinking about dragging the fam to town next Tuesday for the Alabama game. Is there a decent spot on campus for a family to watch the game or is pretty much all going to be full of college kids and we would be way out of place?

I can’t think of a single place on campus. Maybe somewhere downtown but even then family friendly might not be an option.

Wish they'd overflow into Beard-Eaves for watch parties, have food trucks lined up outside between the two in the rec center parking lot, just fricking do it big.

Try Buffalo Wild Wings Tigertown in Opelika. Maybe Baumhower's Victory Grille off exit 57. Both will probably be full but close to family friendly as you can get IMO. Or see if there's a watch party at Auburn United Methodist. Downtown Auburn I imagine would be too crowded.

Both good options.

I lived in a small octagon cabin on Moores Mill Creek off Ogletree, deck literally hung over the creek. Would take my mountain bike right off my porch and hit the trails at Chewacla in the morning, go home and shower, hit class/work at student rec center, then work night shift at Home Depot leading stock team.

I worked my arse off but looking back, I had it so made. It was paradise and I didn't fully realize it.

I always enjoyed watching sports either live or in my family room when my boys were young. Although I do admit watching a few games at Tony's in roswell ga when they were impressionable. Probably explains their career choices.

Draft House downtown might be a good spot but not sure how early you’d have to get there. Really good food and usually families in there.

My kids are all 4 and younger so I’m just kinda watching sports at home for a few years...

Has anything opened in the old Locos on S. College st? That was a good place for game watching.
