I am watching the Vestavia v Hewitt game and don't understand why we don't go after punters like this kid. He is doing some great punts tonight. We go out of the country to get punters but maybe should be looking closer to home...

They probably go wherever they think they can get the best punter.

No expert but I believe it's pretty much a no brainer that the Australian rugby guys are on another level. Look up such things as spiral bomb kick.
There's a video somewhere from Kirby Smart chastising a reporter for saying something flippant about someone fielding punts. He basically retorts that it's a big deal that today's punts can be even caught at all.
That's also why our guys fair catching on the 5 is not an issue. The guys are really good at deadening the ball.

I hear what you are saying but American punters work on their game as well. We need accuracy, hang time & distance. Not all aussies are great kickers. I know they have an academy down there. This punter has been hitting them into the wind and putting them out of bounds at the 5 or less
