Even with those 5 or so drops, they weren't deep balls. Arkansas was 117 against the pass. Good QBs don't go sub 300 yards with 1 TD 1 INt against bad defenses

To be fair-
I don't think any of our QB's suck. I'm honestly just arguing that I think they're all average to marginally above average
I think Brandon Cox was the definition of marginally above average and for the record he's been one of my favorite Auburn QBs ever

Pretty much this. And a healthy White would be pretty similar to a healthy Brandon Cox. Solid, but unspectacular.

Sean White deserves better than his current situation. The kid has great accuracy and pocket awareness. His play is more of an indictment of where Gus is at right now. His play caling is boring and predictable and the only deep play we run takes forever to develop cause we have to fake three handoffs. Bottom line Sean would ball out in say A&Ms offense. But unless Gus gets his head out of his arse we are better off with a running back at qb.
Oh and Brandon Cox was the truth. One of the all time great AU Qbs.

I've always felt that Sean White has the same skillset as Aaron Murray. Now, obviously Murray was surrounded with an elite WR and produced on the field and even though he was small, he was durable. But when White started playing with some confidence starting at UK going through Ole Miss, I thought he reminded me a lot of Murray.

Please explain....I've always felt Sean has talent. He is easily the best qb we have. But Gus either doesn't know how or doesn't have the personnel to get the best out of him.

I agree with you on this one too. I have said it several times, we have some awful fricking fans that can't seem to ever be happy. One of my buddies is one of them and I literally fricking hate him on gamedays, he bashes every single thing Auburn publicly and privately but yet "loves Auburn and wants the best for it". It's a fricking game, not life or death. I love winning but there are more important things in my life than watching a bunch of kids play football.

Gus said in Dothan last night that Sean White has put on 15 pounds of muscle since the season. I assume he meant that he is now at least 3 inches taller which will knock off out of the haters' arguments about him.
I really think Sean could one of the better Auburn quarterbacks but I think that Malzahn doesn't know how to move the pieces in the SEC to get that out of him.

Sean White is a grate QB. His touchdown pass last season should've quited the haters but dey jus be ignernt. Damn Auburn fans iz negative all the time like my 36 year old daughter that still lives with me in muh trailer. Ain't got no time for dat!! When the Lahd be blessin, the devil be messing.
