Part of me thinks Gus baited MSU by letting the clock run a bit. Almost like he wanted them to think we were playing for the FG and then boom we’re on the 5 yard line

Joey beat me. Best part is Nix has zero bad incompletions so far. One was the play that Seth blocked instead of running a route, two were drops on screens (a little low but definitely catchable), and the fourth was the throw away to Hastings at the end of the half.

That was only the 11th time in program history that Auburn has scored 42 or more points in a first half.
The only other time it came against an SEC opponent? Vanderbilt in 1990.
