Go look at his 2023 season then: 63.7 QBR, 57.3% completion percentage. He threw 15 TD's to 14 INT's. That is a shite TON of interceptions for a guy who ran the ball 215 times.

He can run, but so what? Freeze isn't running a triple-option offense, and you are talking about bringing a "5'9" sub-200 pound (listed at ~196 pounds) QB into an even more physical conference with higher level of competition than what Boston College plays week in and week out.

He has some tools/skills, but he is very inconsistent, and this dates back to 2023 as well (ie: it's not just some crap about how he didn't fit Bill O'Brien's offense). If you look at 2023: he played like crap in virtually every game wherein he wasn't able to run all over the other team. So he is completely reliant on running the football in order to set up any passing game whatsoever. And you want to bring him into a team where the coach (Freeze) seems hell-bent on passing the football?

This is a backup option type QB; if this is the "#1 pick" to come into the SEC in a do-or-die season for Freeze, then we are fried. Its comical seeing people bash Thorne for two seasons and then turn around and try to argue like Castellanos is something to get hyped about.

I also never said for sure Auburn would be his destination. I would be very surprised if he wound up at FSU because of the recent hire of Gus. Gus screwed Thomas over at UCF.

I domt know but we are clearly interested in Thomas.
