The internal investigation seems to be clean. If we want him gone, we gotta buy him out.

Boosters launch a character attack and call in all their media favors to push allegations so they can fire for cause. Now it might appear no cause exists or can’t fabricate cause, and will have to cough up another 18 million. Looking like the money guys are saying frick that possibly having to psyoff? Lol

Clown world if that is true, and if it is will all you booster fans see the damage those fickheads caused? Oh but they give so much money and don’t want to burn down the mansion.

Why are we the only athletic department that operates this way?

Repeat after me...any success and joy I've experienced from Auburn football is because of the boosters.

I mean this is true of basically every collegiate program. Auburn boosters are not special in this regard

I personally don’t believe it. I do not believe Harsin will be our coach in 2022, whether he did anything or not.

I don’t believe we are.

I appreciate the power brokers behind Auburn we need them, but they employed an ill advised smear campaign that makes us look like shite. That is not excusable because they brought some limited success to the football program.

Meh

Am I supposed to believe their recruiting efforts is just now going to turn for the worst when they couldn’t even pull a decent turnout at Junior day?

If anything all our PTB did was drag his reputation from the small pond to the big stage. Sure it won’t help Harsin. It’s not like he has been trying to himself.

I’d still argue their donations mean more to Auburn than piss-ant blind loyalty support from the anons on the internet.

Stop being so dramatic

You misinterpret like usual. This isn’t about supporting Harsin.

It’s about a highly public and failed character assassination that hurts Auburn football nationally.

If they cannot finish off Harsin then it just makes them look like shite. Those “Jetgate” optics won’t go away. They might as well FAHHR HIS AZZ

We aren't. We just let them have too much power and no one will stand up to them. We don't have enough boosters that will hand over money and let the Athletic Department run the show.

I mean they should have just done this from the beginning if they really want him gone. We are in an unwinnable situation. Harsin will either lose and be fired or win and bolt west

They may still come up with the money because the damage is done. I’m not saying Harsin stays. Just that shady attempt to create a cause to fire him was a very dumb move.

Well if they don’t finish him off the damage is done to no other than the PTB. If they were going to drag the scandal out this long and not get him then they should get get shitted on. It appeared they had a plan to get him. Now it appears they’re the source of the problems and distracts from Harsin’s own issues.

Well it also would hurt the football team. Regardless of your opinion on Harsin, who wants to come play for a coach who will 99% be fired unless he has an amazing season? What assistant wants to play in that situation?

I know you will say that his recruiting and staffing was already bad, and I agree it was. But I assure you it can get a lot worse than the 18th ranked class and an opening at offensive coordinator.

That’s all I have been saying.

I get the frustrations and the arguments but then just fire him. What coach worth a damn, other than one like Freeze looking redemption, is going to come to Auburn?

Money may talk and overcome it but I think it makes most look elsewhere.
