Tate is saying Petrino has not been contacted to set up an interview.

I'm starting to think maybe we really won't interview him and all the pay site "insiders" were just assuming we would

Who knows

I don't have a good feeling about any of this, and I don't care what anyone has to say about it. I'm worried.

I really do refuse to believe he won't be interviewed. I just can't imagine a scenario where auburn chooses to not hire petrino so as to not divide the fanbase but also chooses to not interview him, and in my opinion, dividing the fanbase just as much.

Two seconds ago you didn't believe what PM said because the insiders know nothing. Now that another insider said it you believe him?

I'm getting worried too. I was level-headed up to today.

I can't believe it either, but then I'm reminded who the spineless idiot is who's leading the search.

Let's hope he does get an interview or we're fricked.

Nevermind. You were responding to someone else when I thought you were responding to me. I must be going a little crazy with the coaching search stuff going on.

I wish I could learn to just ignore them.. We all have opinions, opinions can change.. For some folks they just want to attack other posters, but not provide anything.. the easiest job in the world is one as a critic. I assume everyone is FOS on a message board.

I heard there was an email to letterman regarding support of Petrino(I believe). And Tate just tweeted something about Petrino? I have no idea I am asking if anyone else heard this...

Yea...that is a gamechanger against reason and logic...i hate JJ, airborne aids hate.

I'm just looking forward to the "what the frick is happening pendulem" swinging back to "it's petrino" later this afternoon. Seems that shoudl be the right time table.

I wasn't attacking him or you in your thread. I was telling you how it appears to posters when you start a new thread. It wasn't personal just informative.

Petrino better be recruiting with an AU hat on this weekend, or I'm shite bagging someone.

Terry Henley sent out the letter in support of Petrino...

JGT just posted an article (see below) that says the Petrino/others is dividing the Auburn family. That is why I think we are down to Malzahn and Smart. (full disclosure, I have NO INSIDE INFORMATION, but I am not blind either)...

Pick him - and a vocal minority of Auburn supporters will cry foul.

Pick someone else - and a vocal majority of Auburn supporters will undergo a meltdown that could affect the program for years.

The best solution? Bring in Petrino, assess him with an unbiased perspective and determine how he can affect the program. If The Search Committee determines that another man is better suited to guide Auburn back to relevance, well, at least the Petrino Bloc was given the chance it was promised.

If Petrino isn't afforded his opportunity to speak, any chance to build unity on the Plains will take a major hit.

Petrino has to much support not to get an interview, everyone is freaking out for nothing imo.
