I remain that you can not, will not win without a good trigger man in college football these days.

You can not sacrifice that position now.

We have failed for 2 straight years getting a guy. Not sure if we can get one for next year but if we don’t, we will fail again. It is simple math.

I am all for it. Have been all along. Go get the guy to come in and compete. Who can we bring in? I dont want generalities. Who do you think will lead us.

First Robby Ashford and now Thorne.

Its tough being a sunshine pumper with these guys at the helm.

There isnt a lucky shirt left in the closet

We'll fail again even if we do get a guy bc hugh's a loser. Nothing else matters. Just give up.

That’s true but he could at least try to win some games instead of just concentrating on buying up players.

Two seasons so far Swagger, what game was Hugh’s best coaching job?

He really is

It is so hard to pull for him to get it right

I guess because I have known too many fake arse frauds like him and can smell his BS from a mile away

This is where I say gameplan and play calling first half of the season were good and you say mehh did we win tho. You're not interested in what I have to say. You're just tryna bait me so you can attempt to dunk on me.

You're read on the whole thing is just incredibly hateful and cynical. You wanted to be what ucf is now so I should probably just stop giving credence to what you say.

You mean the first half of this season where we went 2-4 beating nobody and nobody state?

Anyone defending Hugh right now is either mentally impaired or is just blinded by their orange and blue glasses and in severe denial.

He is a sham.

Results matter.

Hugh is nothing but excuses for failure.

We screwed up so bad hiring this guy. We will pay for this for a long time.

Strap in, we are bottom dwellers.

Auburn Football is screwed. For years. It’s awful.

Thats just not true. I dont have any thoughts of baiting you. I just dont believe that the offense has been good all year. I cant believe that when you are turning the ball over every other time you have it. Yea you can hit a few big plays against cupcakes but not controling the ball is bad offense.

You want my opinion of Hugh to be about Gus and its just not. I gave Harsin the benefit of the doubt because he seemed like a capable coach coming in. He quickly lost me with his DGAF attitude but I still say he is a better game day coach than Hugh.

I have never personally liked Hugh. He is just one of those slimy fake christian dudes that I dont care for. He made is very easy for me to dislike him more when he showed that he cant coach on gameday.

Has nothing to do with you. Its just your constant opinion that more talent is going to make Hugh a better coach. It isnt. We have incredible WR talent. Is that talent showing up? No. Our 5*, best ever receiver is lazy and only shows up 1 play out of 20. That is coaching. Best receiver we have is a transfer from Penn St.

Someone said it pretty good earlier. WE are TAM with Jimbo, 2.0. Except I honestly think Jimbo was a better game day coach

This all stems from the dumb extension given to Gus in 2017. It has been disastrous decision after disastrous decision since then. You reap what you sow.

We were a once strong and proud football tradition. Look at what we have become.

Just look.

It’s disgusting,

Called it

I've not once guaranteed Hugh would be successful. But I do see a route for success and the best thing that happens for Auburn is that Hugh finds success. So I'm gonna pull for that.

Anybody that thinks anything that happened this season is indicative of anything that's gonna happen next season is full of shite. Point blank.

You are a fool.

We have hit bottom.

Full of shite?

Guaranteed, I don’t care what happens, we will continue to lose with that scumbag as coach.

This all goes back to the PTB. Shitty decisions concerning extensions (Gus), AD hire, Harsin hire....

What we are seeing today, is all due to 5+ years of bad decisions from the admin. It's going to take time to turn this thing around.

I just cant understand this thought process. If he cant take the talen that we have and beat programs that we are waaaaaaay more talented than, what makes you think he is going to take "more talent" and compete at the level we need to be working towards

yes, if we get three top 5 classes, he can probably beat New Mexico State and Cal then but is he going to compete with UGA, LSU, Texas then? Teams that will have equal talent? I dont see it.

And that is the goal with all this changing to start with. To better compete with the top level teams in the SEC.

I just dont understand that thought process

I guess I am just full of shite because when I saw us lose to New Mexico State at home last year and the 4th and 31, I had a pretty good idea what were were in for. I typically use results to back up my thoughts. Not emotion and hope.

Those were the worst 2 losses most of us have seen at Auburn in recent history. And both were on him in his first season. This year is just a extension of those two loses.

What game since he has been at Auburn has Hugh Freeze done a good job in? Just give me one game where he did what we are paying him to do throughout the entire game

Yep. Strap in.

Are we confident our leadership can get it done?

I’m not.

I like and agree with most of your posts dude but I dont here. There is no, 4 year rebuilds in college football these days. And there shouldnt be with the portal and transfer system. A program like Auburn that has the resources we have should be way better in year 2 than we are right now.

More years and more talent is not going to get us there with this staff
